The Whitsunday Islands

HAPPY WORLD TOURISM DAY! Pack your bags! Get, set, go!
I've already been to Australia, but I've never been here, to be honest, but the picture tempts me to visit someday, which I definitely will do (hey, I love travelling). For those artists and painters out there, I guess this picture invokes ideas in your brain 😄
The Whitsunday Islands are 74 continental islands of various sizes off the coast of Queensland, Australia, 900 kilometers (560 miles) north of Brisbane.
The trip rating is 5/5 on the web...man, I guess this has to be on my bucket list 😅
Whitsunday Island is the largest island in the Whitsunday group of islands located off the coast of Central Queensland, Australia.
  • The Whitsundays are located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef and have thousands of species of fish.
  • The Whitsundays were originally discovered by Captain James Cook in 1770.
  • The traditional owners of the Whitsundays are the Ngaro, who originally inhabited the islands.
  • The Whitsundays are home to one of the top five beaches in the world, Whitehaven Beach.
